**Job Description**:

- Assists staff with various mapping, graphic, and tabular data needs for internal and external projects
- Able to provide operational and technical GIS support on a variety of projects
- Create and update maps/plans used in reports including but not limited to, Environmental Assessment, Environmental Compliance Approvals, Annual Monitoring Reports, Environmental Impact Studies, and Geotechnical Investigations
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient and timely delivery of project deliverables
- Site surveys
- Import survey data to create features and surfaces
- Responsible for personal health and safety and that of any person working on an assignment directly under their supervision
- Field work in all seasons, travel, and overtime may be required

**Job Requirements**:

- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience working with ArcGIS
- Relevant College Diploma or University Degree; related experience
- Proficient with GIS software and GIS map creation
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an asset
- Surveying experience in various field scenarios and project types is considered an asset
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) is essential
- Outstanding organisational and communications abilities
- Superior technical skills and attention to detail
- Good problem solver with ability to identify alternative solutions
- The ability to work with multiple people and prioritize tasks is a must
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Desire to succeed in a dynamic, progressive organization
- Works well independently as well as a part of a team
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
