**Supervisor Responsibilities**

This job contains supervisorial responsibilities of hourly event staff and the warehouse location

**Summary**

The expectation of this position is that the employee performs their duties and responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner. Furthermore, the expectation is to perform these duties while working as a part of a team.

**Essential Duties**
- Responsible for overseeing the warehouse and directing employees for proper receiving and distributing of product
- Responsible for recording date and time of delivery as well as the amount, type and quality of the items received. This is recorded in the _Traker_ system.
- Able to learn and implement all procedures through the TRAKER inventory system
- Assists _with_ gathering, entering, and/or updating data to maintain departmental records and databases, as appropriate; establishing and maintaining files and records for the office.
- Responsible for complete warehouse and inventory management and ensuring all products are properly stored, rotated and dated in accordance with the Compass Group HSQA guidelines.
- Completes months end inventory duties in timely manner in the Traker system.
- Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment.
- Oversees and assures proper fridge maintenance, inventory rotation, FIFO (First In First Out), and the ability to train associates in these practices
- Effectively tracking purchases and ensuring the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
- Responsible for taking temperature of frozen or refrigerated product deliveries and ensure that quality standards are met. Report any deficiencies to culinary and QA Coordinator
- Must be able to demonstrate strong problem solving and leadership skills as well as effective communication.
- Must demonstrate the ability to successfully work in a team, and effectively collaborate with other internal or external departments.
- Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale.
- Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team.
- Ensures cleanliness and organization of all storage and warehouse areas, at all times.
- Assisting the Beverage Coordinator to make educated decisions on ordering and product rotation to ensure proper product management.
- Understands all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing.
- Responsible for effectively tracking the inventory on the most used items in order to make informed decisions pertaining to purchases.
- Responsible for assuring that associates are wearing the proper safety equipment and follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Thoroughly completes all warehouse set-up and breakdown responsibilities including the effective storage of equipment, in a safe and secure manner.
- Ensures received product is put away and stored in the appropriate location and adheres to HSQA standards for storage.
- Follows and enforces safety and sanitation procedures in and around the kitchen as well as in the warehouse throughout the stadium.
- Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by manager.
- Adheres to all uniform policies and expectations including steel toed footwear and non-slip shoes.
- Assisting with general event day tasks as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate with QA Coordinator regarding schedules and HSQA logs.
- Punctual and ready to perform all required duties in uniform at start of shift.
- Implement safety policies and procedures and train other associates on HSQA standards.

**Physical Demands**
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; occasionally need to transport items up to 75 pounds. Employees must use assistive devices, use proper lifting techniques and/or seek support from team members.
- Frequent periods of standing and walking are required; employees are encouraged to stretch as needed. The stadium environment is a larger site and tends to involve higher physical demands on event days.
- Frequent use of stairs is required; elevator accessibility is limited to accommodating clients and staff with mobility and accessibility needs. Please speak with manager if you require accommodations.
- Please note this stadium is a loud environment on event days. Hearing protection may be available - ask your supervisor.
- Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours, up to 50 hours per week as business dictates during peak periods. Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts.
