Vancouver, Canada Children's Health Policy Centre - SFU Harbour Full time

The Children’s Health Policy Centre (CHPC) in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University (SFU) is seeking a full-time Research Assistant to assist with various child health research projects led by Principal Investigators, Nicole Catherine and Charlotte Waddell, including the British Columbia Healthy Connections Project and the Children's Mental Health Research Quarterly publication (_The Quarterly_).

Located at SFU’s downtown Vancouver Harbour Centre campus, the CHPC is an interdisciplinary research group whose work focuses on improving health, development and wellbeing for all children - and on the public policies needed to reach these goals. Our work complements the mission of the Faculty of Health Sciences to advance population and public health locally, nationally and globally.

Deadline: Position is open until filled.

The Research Assistant will work closely with other team members to assist with the following:

- scanning relevant emerging literature to inform long-term research planning;
- performing literature reviews and conducting assessments of articles;
- summarizing and synthesizing research evidence;
- developing and maintaining research documents, reference databases and administrative logs.

In addition, the Research Assistant will assist with the following:

- editing content and references and formatting research and policy reports, presentation slides and academic publications;
- sorting and distributing incoming project communications and creating and maintaining filing systems; and
- participating in other related activities as needed.

This position is grant-funded, full-time (40-hours per week), in-person/office-based (with occasional remote hours) with an immediate start date for one year (renewable based on grant funding), contingent on performance.
