Associate, Inventory Control (afternoon shift)

As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue and Airborne law enforcement agencies. From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro1-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.

Primary Responsibilities
- This role is for the AFTERNOON shift
- Processing of incoming and outgoing documentation to support component and system shipping and receiving
- Updating MRP system
- Shelve/store materials as required (Optics Stores/Point of Use etc.)
- Daily Cycle Counting and analysis.
- Maintain and restore shipping and packaging materials as required
- Liaise with couriers, customs, and external clients as required

Desired Education and Experiences
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of principles of inventory management
- Familiarity with customs documentation and overseas shipments
- Must be able to multi-task
- Post-secondary education in Materials Management an asset
- 2 - 3 years direct applied knowledge
- Previous experience with MRP an asset
