Universal Collision Center (UCC) on Rochdale Blvd. has a permanent full-time position open for an Body Shop Assistant

As the Body Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks around the shop to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient working environment. **Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the body shop
- Assist with the transportation of parts, tools, and customers
- Empty garbage cans and dispose of waste materials
- Assist with organizing tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure they are easily accessible and in good working condition
- Help prepare and organize parts for technicians, ensuring they are readily available for repairs and replacements
- Support technicians and other staff members with miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and machinery
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and notifying the appropriate personnel when replenishment is required
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

- 6 months or more experience in customer service, maintenance, or automotive industry. Shop environment experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to perform tasks that require bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting over 25kg, and standing for extended periods
