Landform Inc. is a landscape construction company established in 2003 that services Calgary and the surrounding area. We offer Landscape Construction and Landscape Maintenance - creating and maintaining meaningful spaces such as parks, playgrounds, and restoration projects. In the winter we continue to support communities by offering Snow Removal services. This position is located in Calgary and the surrounding areas.

The **Landscape Construction Crew Member **will report to their Foreman supervisor. Crews will meet each day on a construction site (Calgary and surrounding area) or at the Landform yard as determined by their supervisor. You will be responsible for being properly dressed for working in the current weather conditions, including having your own CSA approved boots and gloves. Other PPE will be provided by Landform.

**Specific Duties Include (but are not limited to)**:

- Follow directions of Foreman, Lead Hand, Operator or Construction Manager
- Demonstrate care of equipment and tools, and understand the basics of load securement for helping Drivers load and unload
- Identify hazards and controls to reduce risk
- Understand the basic concepts of the various types of landscape construction such as compaction, screeding, slope, irrigation, etc
- Move and install soil, mulch and plant material under supervision to assist with the construction of landscape gardens and related areas
- Installation of stone walkways, patios, steps, walls, wood decks, steps, fences, and pergolas with supervision
- Perform basic maintenance on machines and equipment, grease machines, clean air filters daily, check fluids

**Who You Are**:

- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Able to work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
- Possess a passion for gardening, physical work and working outdoors with nature
- Be willing to listen, learn, follow direction and accept constructive criticism from crew leader
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Safely work around heavy equipment
- Physical dexterity to handle prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, or walking
- Previous landscape/construction experience is an asset

Regular full time shifts are Monday to Friday. Compensation will be based on experience. We look forward to hearing from you

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
