- Provide leadership and consultation on solutions and technologies with respect to vendor constraints, managing stakeholder expectations. Assure success of assigned operations and projects; measuring key outcomes, assessing project deliverables, ensuring customer satisfaction, complete on-time delivery.
- Translate business needs, partnerships and infrastructure into practical managed operations solutions, for use across Fraser Health
- Ensure the infrastructure is managed as per ITIL Service Management processes; consistent processes are in place and followed; organizes, maintains and documents operational standards.
- Expand organizational knowledge in the virtual compute domain, including but not limited to: AWS, Azure, GCP, Citrix, VMWare and RDS.
- Prepares, manages and evaluates the procurement of external services by participating and/or managing the RFI, RFQ, and or RFP process including creating and evaluating the RFP and funds for large enterprise-wide systems initiatives.
- Manage vendor licenses, invoices and credit usage for optimum utilization and fulfillment utilize enterprise agreements
**To join our team, we will look for you to have**:
- Bachelor's degree, Certificate or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Systems Engineering, or Business Management with definitive Information Technology experience
- At least five (5) years of experience managing virtual and digital services in a large, complex organization
- At least five (5) years of experience managing financial budgets and direct reports
- Additional training and skills in leadership, ITIL service management, project management (PMP) and healthcare standards are preferred.
- Experience and certification with Citrix, Azure and/or AWS is preferred.

**Position Highlights**
The **Portfolio Manager, Virtual Infrastructure **provides strategic leadership, innovative services and hands-on expertise to Fraser Health executive, ensuring our virtual infrastructure can deliver on Fraser Health’s drive towards innovation. They will be responsible to accelerate the advancement and development of our virtual infrastructure services, for consumption across Fraser Header.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, assemble and govern multi-vendor offerings to build a stable and flexible virtual platform, for other Fraser Departments to leverage. Regularly review system, platform and infrastructure performance data and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.
