Laundry Technician - Calgary Contents

**Position Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Laundry Technician** to join our contents restoration team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and restoring têxtiles and garments affected by fire, water, mold, or other forms of damage. Your work will contribute to restoring personal belongings to their original condition, providing comfort and relief to our clients during challenging times.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and specialized cleaning systems, to clean and restore têxtiles.
- Assess and sort garments and têxtiles by material, color, and level of damage.
- Treat stains, odors, and contaminants using appropriate cleaning agents and restoration techniques.
- Follow company protocols and procedures to ensure garments are handled with care and restored to the highest quality.
- Inspect restored items for cleanliness, integrity, and readiness for return to clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Keep accurate records of items received, processed, and returned.
- Work closely with team members to prioritize and complete restoration projects within deadlines.
- Handle items with sensitivity and professionalism, understanding the emotional value they may hold for clients.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in laundry operations or têxtile care is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of têxtile types and appropriate cleaning methods is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads (up to 25 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning agents responsibly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Empathy and professionalism when dealing with clients’ belongings.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
