The Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of all projects from initiation to closing and ensure they are completed within the written schedule, budget and to meet company quality standards.
**Position Functions**
- Communicating with all stakeholders of the project and managing the progress of attaining drawings and all required permits.
- Communicating between architects, engineers, and municipalities.
- Oversee and supervise construction project progress and provide progress reports.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure all building and safety codes, safety inspections and regulations are followed.
- Working with clients to detail specific project deliverables.
- Responsible for all aspects of a project over the entire project life cycle, including all project management documents. (Initiate, plan, execute, control, close)
- Prepare status reports, establish effective project communication plan, and ensure execution.
- Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, budget, deadlines, and schedules.
- Collaborate with construction management team on contracts, revisions, and or additions to agreements with architects, engineers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standard.
- Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
- Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
- Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Ensure the management software and all construction related documents are always updated.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Work Experience Requirements**:
- 5 Years Experience in Ontario as a residential construction project manager.
**Education Requirements**:
- A bachelor’s degree or master's degree, College Certificate in a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
**Required Skills**:
- Must be polite, courteous, punctual and a team player.
- Solid understanding of construction procedures, methods, materials, and management principles.
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Understanding of construction/ project management software.
- Knowledge in construction health and Safety standards.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Clean drivers’ abstract, Class G drivers’ license with reliable means of transportation.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency with technology.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt and be flexible.
- Conflict resolution skills.
**Salary**: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
