**About the role**
- The Bachelor of Music Therapy program has an ongoing, part-time position for a certified music therapist and experienced educator. This person would be responsible for teaching music therapy content and practicum courses, so a clinical work history with a focus on children and youth would be an asset. These courses are only offered in-person.
**Experience, competencies & qualifications**
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- MTA certification - with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists, or equivalent international certification (e.g. MT-BC);
- Masters in Music Therapy or equivalent graduate achievement;
- At least 5 years as a working clinical music therapist with a variety of populations, with an emphasis on children and youth;
- Excellent musicianship;
- Excellent self-awareness and insight; and
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
