**Heat Treat Equipment Attendant**
- Hourly rate: $34.39 - fully qualified (starts at Learner 1: $29.23/hr; Learner 2: $30.95/hr; Learner 3: $32.67)_

We have opportunities for you to join our production team as a Heat Treating Equipment Operator at our facility in **Cambridge, Ontario**. **PRIMARY FUNCTION**

To set up and operate heat treating operations

**TASKS**
- Read and interpret Work Order, Shop Instruction Sheets (SIS); plan and organize Argon recirculating electric Heat-Treating process; identify and verify workpiece material
- Run heat-treating cycle by following required procedures; checking that all controllers are operational and functioning; monitoring and checking all controls and gauges; visually checking that thermocouples (TC) is printing on recorder; and ensuring that calculations are being inputting to the computer gradient file; in accordance with company requirements and procedures
- Load work piece; verify thermocouple connection and functionality.
- Operation of overhead crane to support own work.
- Set up and operate furnaces.
- Assist Fitter when not Seal Welding.
- Perform General Helper duties when not Heat Treating
- Keep immediate work area in a clean condition and orderly condition; work safely.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment would be a definite asset.
- Must pass a pre-employment theory testing
- Great computer skills
- Good understanding of blueprint reading
- Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations.
- Available to work “off shifts”:

- Days: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. (Mon - Thurs) OR
- Afternoons: 4:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. (Mon - Thurs) OR
- Weekend days: 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours).

The successful incumbent will need to be available for all shifts for training purposes.
