Equipment Operator

Dawson Creek, Canada City of Dawson Creek Full time

Completed Grade 12, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience;
A valid Class 3 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement;
A clean driver’s abstract;
Knuckle Boom Crane certification;
An understanding of basic electrical and mechanical processes and the ability to recognize problems related to the operation of the equipment;
The physical agility and ability to complete duties requiring physical effort and to perform all duties in a safe manner while following established procedures;
The ability to maintain harmonious relationships with all members of the public and other staff members; and,

At least 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as graders, loaders, sweepers and sidewalk plows.
