**Position**: Dietary Aide
**Reports to**:Food Services Supervisor and/or Cook

**Job Type**:Part Time
**Hours**:6 shifts in a two week pay period (45hours per pay)
**Compensation**: Starting at $20.00 per hour

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in setting and clearing tables before and after meals.
- Support meal service, including plating and distributing meals to residents.
- Aid in food preparation under the supervision of the Cook.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while maintaining sanitary conditions.
- Clean and sanitize food service areas, including dining rooms, kitchen spaces and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety and infection prevention and control protocols to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and in-service education to stay updated on industry best practices and regulations.
- Serve as a committee representative if elected or appointed.

**Qualifications & Requirements**

Education & Certification
- Completion or active enrollment in a Food Service Worker (FWS) Training Program (preferred)
- Valid Food Safely Training (required)

- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently
- Maturity and professionalism in handling responsibilities.
- Good physical and mental health with no communicable diseases.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

Schedule & Availability
- Shift: 7am - 3pm.
- Weekend Availability Required (every other weekend)
