**Position Summary - Packaging Operator**

The Packaging Operator is required to use a combination of manual techniques and automated equipment to complete daily production with accuracy and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with production supervisor and the rest of the crew to coordinate the packaging schedules for the brewery
- Perform all duties requires for production/packaging process
- Review efficiency and consistency of packaging operations to determine what changes can be made to improve operations.
- Ensure the packaging line is a safe working environment
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain all packaging equipment
- Ensures safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Ensure all record keeping and logs are accurate and up to date
- Work closely with cellarman and brewing departments to ensure smooth product flow and the timely completion of the production schedule.
- Records monthly inventory of finished products and packaging related materials
- Support in other departments may be required on occasion
- Provide quality control checks and identify any damaged goods
- Assist in the cleaning of the production area after each product run
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high demand for production
- Work quickly, efficiently, and keep a clean and organized work environment
- Flexible towards working longer shifts during heavier production when required
- Flexible towards scheduled workdays, may include some weekend shifts
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Communicate clearly and effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
