We have an immediate opening for a Contract (6-12 Months) Material Controller for the Production Department—Langley. This position will be based out of the Langley facility and will report to the Production Manager.

**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Perform daily shipping, receiving, inspection, order processing and stocking of inventory.
- Check for damage on all received shipments. Reconcile appropriate paperwork and parts have been received.
- Preparation for shipping of parts for undamaged delivery.
- Picking stock from designated inventory locations and assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory to appropriate levels.
- Computer data entry.
- Filing as required.
- Some heavy lifting required.
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Applicable qualifications, attributes and competencies are**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Previous experience with customs documentation an asset.
- Experience with FedEx, DHL or similar freight forwarding systems an asset.
- Well organized with strong attention to detail.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work space.
- Strong interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid forklift license or proof of previous forklift experience an asset
- Grade 12 completion.
- Valid BC driver’s licence.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work shift work and overtime as needed.
- Accuracy with numbers.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with constant changing priorities. Able to carry out multiple tasks at the same time.
- Computer literate with basic typing skills.
