**Position Title**: Crane Division Technician
**Location**: Vancouver (on-Site)
**Availability**: Weekdays (With overtime/ weekends Availability)

For over 35 years The Quorum Group of companies has been privileged to work on a number of Canada's greatest landmarks. Each project varies from residential towers, corporate high rises, and commercial superstructures.
Being a concrete formwork company, we specialize in the construction of high-rise buildings. Our structural formwork division is looking to hire an experienced ‘Crane Division Technician’ to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
The main responsibility of a crane service technician is to ensure cranes are both operational and safe. This includes regular maintenance tasks like replacing fluids, filters, or parts as necessary, as well as performing major repairs. Crane repairs could range anywhere from simply replacing bolts and pulleys to completely rebuilding parts. It can be quite intensive. This job requires the ability to lift heavy objects, manual dexterity, and working from heights.
Because cranes are heavy machinery, they can be dangerous to operate. It's essential that crane technicians follow all safety standards and compliance.
**Requirements**:
- A qualified electrician from any jurisdiction.
- Crane electrical and other crane technician certificate is preferred.
- Related experience in crane maintenance is required (5+years preferred).
- Ability to learn and work with the team.
**Working conditions**

- Must be able to stand, crouch, kneel, climb and walk for long periods.
- Exposure to hot and cold extremes. Must have appropriate gear for the weather.

**Experience**:
- formwork construction: 4 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- BC Driver's License (preferred)
- Crane Technician/Electrician Certificate (preferred)
