**Electrical Project Manager/Estimator**

Sid Grabell Contracting is growing, and we're adding an electrical Project Manager / Estimator to our team. This position requires someone who is detail oriented, results-driven, and excels at building trust-based relationships. Applicants should be a licensed electrician who has project management and estimating experience.

SGC has built a reputation for making it happen, delivering high performance solutions for clients across multiple sectors including steel, food, oil & gas, waste management and fabrication industries. We specialize in heavy industrial, high voltage, automation and civil power distribution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Estimate project costs including labour, equipment and materials.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors
- Plan material, labour and equipment requirements for each job
- Plan, assign, direct and monitor on site work
- Provide clear direction and support to field staff assigned to projects
- Ensure compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, Ontario Construction Regulations and Health & Safety standards
- Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the project lifecycle

**Qualifications**
- Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician with 5+ years’ experience
- Experience with heavy industrial and construction is preferred
- Proven experience as a project manager / estimator
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Construction Regulations and Health and Safety Act
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organization, time-management and multitasking skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships with customers
