We are seeking a Pension Administrator to join our McAteer team in Markham.

The Pension Administrator provides administrative services to Pension Plans in such a way as to enable the smooth operation and administration of the plans.

The Pension Administrator will:

- Work on both DB and DC clients
- Perform pension calculations i.e. Terminations, Retirements, Deaths, Marriage Breakdowns
- Provide reports for agents upon request.
- Update system records as required.
- Reconcile pension payments.
- Have knowledge of how pension statements, tax receipts are generated.
- Reconcile plan memberships.
- Perform other duties as assigned by their manager.

To be successful as a Pension Administrator with the McAteer Group of Companies, you will need:

- College Diploma/University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Familiarity with components of pension
- Familiarity with actuarial terms and exercises such as valuation report data preparation and reconciliations
- Knowledge of employee benefits and pension legislation
- RPA, CEBS, or PPAC
- Strong Excel knowledge
- A minimum of 3 years experience in pension administration
- Pension, benefits, or financial services industry knowledge and experience
