**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and deliver engaging and effective pickleball lessons for individuals and small groups.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the diverse needs and skill levels of participants (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills, strategy, and overall game.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
- Potentially assist with organizing and running pickleball clinics and workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of lessons and participant progress.
- Communicate effectively with participants and program organizers.

**Duties**:
**Instruction and Coaching**:

- Plan and deliver structured pickleball lessons tailored to beginner, intermediate, and advanced skill levels.
- Teach fundamental skills (grip, serve, return, dink, volley, third shot drop, etc.) and advanced techniques.
- Explain pickleball rules, scoring, and etiquette clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrate proper techniques and provide individualized feedback to participants.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that are progressive and engaging.
- Adapt coaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and physical abilities.
- Incorporate drills and game-play scenarios to enhance learning

**Program Support**:

- Assist in the organization and execution of pickleball clinics, workshops, and potentially introductory events.
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
- Ensure proper use and care of equipment.
- Communicate effectively with program organizers regarding scheduling, participant feedback, and any issues that may arise.

**Participant Interaction**:

- Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
- Build rapport with participants and address their questions and concerns.
- Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote sportsmanship and respect among participants.

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Maintain accurate records of lesson attendance and participant progress.
- Submit required reports or documentation in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience coaching pickleball
- **Mandatory**: Current and valid Pickleball NCCP coaching certification
- Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for pickleball and a desire to help others improve.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but can be obtained upon hiring.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
