- **Role Overview **_
- **Responsibilities**:_
- **-(2) weeks on, (1) week off. Location: BHP Jansen Mine Site**_
- Project Coordinator will be assigned projects including cost controls, planning, scheduling, and estimating.
- Become thoroughly knowledgeable with the project’s contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Establish a detailed schedule for planning/analysis, construction and execution of the project, including procurement, scheduling services and trades, workflow to project completion.
- Manage client relationships with efficient communication, expectations management and promoting trust.
- Request quotes from suppliers and trades for projects.
- Coordinate duties for various trades onsite.
- Propose innovate and effective solutions to complex situations.
- Manage change order documentation and pricing.
- Review and integrate technological opportunities.
- Provide leadership in safety and quality performance.
- Perform any other job-related duties as required by project manager.
- **Desired Skills and Experience **_
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in planning/scheduling, procurement in a construction environment
- Field experience/Mine site experience an asset.
- Estimating experience an asset.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, PM software experience.
- Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- 100% On-Site position.
- CAN DO attitude and the desire to roll sleeves up and get the job done
- Must be able to legally work in Canada.
