Greenhouse Packing Line Operator

Under the general direction of the Packing Manager, the Packing Operator is responsible for the packing house operations and labour supervision and scheduling of the packing house crew. The incumbent will ensure an operational standard of excellence in all key business areas, including product handling, labour management, documentation, and management reporting. The Assistant Packing Operator will also adhere to food safety regulations and other regulatory programs and ensure they are being enforced with his crews & teams.

**Job Requirements**
- Labour Supervision and scheduling should be handled by Packing Operator
- Packing lines production number’s accuracy and documentation should be handled by Packing Operator.
- Conduct regular audits and maintain and upkeep cleanliness and organization of warehouse and grading line
- Provide training and development opportunities to employees to produce high quality work
- Coordinate food safety audit by completing all pre-checklists for certifications/HACCP
- Liaise with greenhouse Supervisor(s) to assist with scheduling extra labor during peak times
- Take care of the schedule for cleanup and setup for greenhouses.
- Ensure all food safety, COR and Randhawa Farms Ltd. policies and procedures are adhered to and all products meet grade standards
- Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of Randhawa Farms Ltd.
- Ensure timely data entry into clocking system and provide various reports to Administrators
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

**Required Experience and Qualifications**
- Should have 3+ years’ experience of labor management.
- Should have 2+ years of packing experience
- Must have good knowledge of MS office (Word and Excel)
- Lean six Sigma training is an Asset.
- Master’s in business administration considered an asset
- Knowledge in business administration, accounting, finance and farming technology considered an asset.
- Experience with working with various tools including production related instrumentation, equipment components is an asset.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Microsoft Projects, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work both during normal business hours as well as when needed for business needs.
