Clean International Inc. is a family business with over 30 years of experience in the sanitation industry. In constant expansion with more than 800 employees in Canada, we are a subcontracting company specializing in food processing plants’ sanitation.

We are looking for a team player to manage the quality team in a bacon factory

**Here are the major responsibilities of the role**:
Under the supervision of the Sanitation Director, the Quality Assurance Lead:

- Ensure the quality of the sanitation by controlling all the sanitation documentation;
- Lead the inspection process by conducting inspections, checks, tests of chemical titration, and sampling procedures of soap and sanitizer, inspects parts and components used in the sanitation;
- Lead the initial and proficiency training program for the staff;
- Perform review of all regulatory documentation, particularly training and preops.

**Tasks Description**:

- Ensure the effectiveness of the inspection program from the start-up of the sanitation crew activities until the startup of the production;
- Prepare on time internal report and do the necessary follow-up;
- Do the follow-up of the internal HACCP documentations;
- Coordinate the daily inspection plan to perform quality control of all the sanitation equipment, materials and products;
- Do a routine and documented inspection of the tools that the sanitation crew brings on the floor;
- Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing;
- Maintain all controlled documents, files and records in a timely and accurate manner;
- Maintain the sanitation frequency as per the validated SSOP and keep the frequency and dismantling chart up to date and accurate;
- Do regular follow up and audit of sanitation procedures and maintain a file for change control;
- Take the lead of the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the sanitation program at the plant;
- Assist the Sanitation Director in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists;
- Evaluate problems found in the pre-op and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action and address root causes of problems;
- Prepare the quality weekly trend analysis report and share it with the Quality Assurance team with the Head Office;
- Ensure that all the reinforcement documentation following a trend is completed and reported;
- Keep up to date on the quality complaints log and support the sanitation supervisor in follow-up, the proper documentation, and the action taken.
- Perform monitoring task of Health and Safety rules on the floor and analyze the trending for preventive action;
- Conduct regular inspecting over proper wearing of protective gear and personal equipment;
- Participate in investigation analysis for any incident that happens at the plant, and follow up on inspecting findings from any regulatory branch;
- Attend the weekly sanitation meeting with the customer;
- Ensuring the compliance of chemical concentration testing for all chemicals and accurately documenting all data;
- Maintain working areas clean, organized, and stocked with titration kits and chemical reagents;
- Maintain and update (as needed) the sanitation protocol, cleaning procedures and frequency schedules with a focus on continuous improvement;
- Complete all other duties and projects as assigned by Sanitation Director and Supervisor.

- Someone who wants to work night shifts, Monday to Friday, Full-time and permanent position
- Someone willing to relocate to Cornwall or even better, who already lives in or close to Cornwall, Ontario
