**Job description**

Seeking a lawyer with 1+ Years Experience in personal injury, with focus in accident benefits, experience in insurance defense litigation, Tort is a plus.

**Responsibilities**
- Handle screening of potential clients
- Diligent gathering of evidence and claims, damages evaluation and recording injuries and expenses
- Responsible to take a file from intake to resolution, and updating the client with regular file reviews
- Reviewing medical documents, Drafting pleadings and motions, Interviewing witnesses
- Prepare documents, accident benefits forms, mediation and pre-trial, memoranda, motion records, pleadings
- Serving and caring attitude when dealing with clients.
- Prepare trial documents and attend court proceedings, examinations for discovery, motions, settlement conferences, tribunals, and other proceedings as needed.
- Draft legal documents, assist senior lawyer with legal searches
- Maintain accurate and organized case files

**Qualifications**
- 3+ Years Experience in personal injury, accident benefits, and/or insurance defense litigation, Tort.
- Great interpersonal communication skills, with clients, lawyers, insurance adjusters and court staff.
- Exceptional ability to analyze complex legal issues and to be able to draft, write clear and concise legal documents
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Highly skilled to meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
- Proficient in performing accurate work
- Ability to build relationship with all types of clients, insurance lawyers, adjusters, court staff
- Being extremely patient, empathetic with all types of clients.
- Detail oriented person, analytical and organized
- Problem solver attitude and a desire to genuinely help people
- Engage in client development activities.
- Keeping up to-date will all legislation and regulation within personal injury and relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures
