Personal Support Worker

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that all areas are tidy and hygienic.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support individuals with disabilities in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home settings, or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration and dementia care techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when required.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Certification in first aid or CPR
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
