**THE ROLE - ACCOUNTING LEAD**
- Assist with the implementation of a new ERP and continue to strive for process improvement
- Completion of bank reconciliations
- Completion of bi-monthly payroll
- Month-end close and reporting
- Variance reporting for actuals to budget and forecast
- Compile and submit monthly GST returns
- Capital reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators
- Continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure proper internal controls over financial reporting
- Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years’ experience in a related accounting position
- 1+ years’ experience processing payroll
- Knowledge and experience with full-cycle bookkeeping
- Strong technical efficiency in Sage 50, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

EDUCATION
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field
