Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

**Job Summary**

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will lead all shipping and receiving to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. In addition, the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will ensure the timely receipt, distribution, and shipping of goods. This individual will set a high standard for health & safety in the warehouse and yard as integrated through their daily tasks. This role will report to the Parts Manager and will support in the event of absence the Parts Representative, forming a collaborative team.

**What You’ll Do - Role Responsibilities**
- Inspecting and verifying all incoming goods for accuracy and condition, escalating non-compliant shipments as needed
- Coordinating returns and/or replacements while keeping all stakeholders informed
- Assisting with inventory control maintenance, including all count cycles and necessary adjustments
- Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, including all relevant documentation for deliveries, shipments, and internal distribution of goods
- Tracking and verifying delivery of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Resolving any vendor and customer issues as they arise
- Managing the binning process, including accurately labelling products, ensuring quality of received materials, and picking for work orders in a timely manner
- Communicating with internal departments regarding receipt of orders
- Ordering and processing all standard bulk items for their location
- Issuing purchase orders as needed and maintaining accurate system records
- Assisting with the sourcing of parts and materials and finding alternative options as required
- Other duties deemed necessary and reasonable by management, as assigned

**What You Need - Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience in Shipping & Receiving required
- Ability to obtain and renew forklift certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail required
- Hands-on experience with an ERP system considered an asset

**Working Conditions**
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) to be worn at all times
- Working in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dirt, dust, odors, and all outdoor weather conditions
- In the event of a power outage or state of emergency declared by any level of government, be available for work.
- Safe handling of dangerous goods
- Physical labor required to load/unload and organize materials
- Continual lifting of up to 50 lb.
- Occasional changes in schedule may be required for special projects
