**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Vac Truck Labourer to join our team in Vaughan. As a Vac Truck Labourer, you will play a critical role in the operation of our vacuum truck, assisting with various sewer and watermain projects. This position requires physical labor, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure proper handling and disposal of materials in accordance with environmental regulations and company policies.
- Operate and assist in the operation of the vacuum truck for tasks such as liquid waste removal, sewer cleaning, and excavation.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vac truck and related equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and cleanup of job sites while adhering to company safety protocols and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on time and in compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor work areas for hazards and take immediate action as needed to ensure safety.
- Perform general labor tasks as required, including digging, lifting, and transporting materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work site and vac truck equipment.
- Follow directions from supervisors and take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team.
- Participate in safety training and ongoing professional development as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license (class G) and a clean driving record; a valid class AZ or DZ license is preferred.
- Experience in the construction, or utility industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to heavy equipment and construction sites.
- Ability to perform physical labor, lift heavy objects, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position may require working outdoors in varying weather conditions and may involve irregular hours, including potential overtime.
- Travel to job sites throughout the province may be required.

**Compensation**:

- To be determined based on applicant’s experience.

**Application Process**:
Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
