Overview:
**Fountain Tire** is looking for a
**Trainer. **This is a 6-month term position to design, develop and deliver training resources for all Fountain Tire locations for the launch of a new point of sale system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Tire365.

**Wage depending on experience**

Ideal internal applicants would be any person with a minimum of 1 year of DAX experience in a customer facing role including Assistant Manager, Inside Sales, Administrative Assistant, Service Manager or Writer.
- Strong consideration for anyone currently in the Drive program.
- Must have support of current Store Manager
- Must have the proven ability (confidence of Manager) to be able train/support individuals.
- Should NOT be the Store Manager or Partner, unless:

- In a Retirement position with a successor in place
- In a dual partner location

**Duties and responsibilities include**:
**Phase 1**:

- Design and develop program materials (training materials for both students and instructors, quick reference cards, online training materials, glossaries, testing materials, etc.) to capture content and promote transfer of learning of D365 and Tire365.
- Provide expertise on learning & development best practices.
- 50% of the time to be spent in Edmonton AB at Fountain Tire Place.
- 50% time remote.

**Phase 2**:

- Deliver learning and development programs at an intermediate level using a blended learning approach.
- Provide instructor led training via in person classroom, Zoom or other online resources.
- Provide feedback on enhancements of training programs and resources with the intent to continually update and improve all training resources.
- If necessary, arrange travel and accommodations to designated training cities throughout Canada while following expenditure guidelines. Exact locations to be determined.
- Provide classroom setup and teardown as required.
- Track attendance and report concerns
- Track, process and manage all travel related expenses (travel, accommodations, meals, etc.)
- Track & submit time for payroll purposes.
- Participate in all safety initiatives as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire.
- Promote a work environment which is safe, collaborative, respectful and also fun.

**The necessary experience, knowledge, skills and abilities required in the role**:

- Intermediate knowledge of the assessment, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of blended learning.
- Demonstrated skill in facilitation.
- Strong communication skills including writing skills demonstrated by success in creating documentation for diverse audiences.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is considered an asset.
- Minimum 25 years old - due to being able to rent vehicles.
- Valid Passenger Vehicle Operators/Driver’s License
- Ability to travel - 25%
- Valid First Aid certificate considered an asset.

**Education and Experience**
- A background in the automotive service industry or retail sector would be considered an asset.
- IT training experience considered an asset.
- Three years' experience in Learning & Development with experience in documentation, creation of online training resources and in person and online facilitation.
