**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Select and source fresh ingredients, ensuring they meet our established standards for quality and freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Assist in menu development by contributing innovative sushi recipes and ideas.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and food handling practices.

**Experience**
- Experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, food safety regulations, and best practices in the kitchen.
- Familiarity with various sushi techniques, knife skills, and presentation styles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $21.75-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
