As a Healthcare Security Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for safeguarding our healthcare facility, ensuring the protection of patients, staff, and assets.

We are looking for licensed Security Supervisor with patience, compassion and empathy who want to make a positive impact in the lives of patients and staff. We will provide all additional training including **_First_**_ Aid CPR, Mental health first Aid, _**_Crisis Management, Effective Communications, Management of Resistant Behavior, Mental Health Awareness and Use of Force_** training. **Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-year Security Supervisory experience preferably in healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
- Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate
- Police Foundations, Community Justice Services or Law Enforcement Diploma would be an asset.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Directly supervise a team of security officers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and professionalism.
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as facilities management and clinical services, to address security concerns and implement proactive measures.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, for various scenarios such as fire, active shooter, or natural disasters.
- Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between security personnel and other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, security standards, and accreditation requirements.

**Pay Rate - **$22.99

**Schedule - **FT nights, Continental (1830-0630)
