We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric **Sheet Metal Apprentice** to join our team.

Job Responsibilities
- Install sheet-metal duct work, pipe work, ventilation, and make-up air systems.
- Measure and mark sheet metal according to the required dimensions using templates.
- Operate, cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
- Measures, cuts, and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions from supervisor.
- Reads and understands shop and field sketches.
- Connects pieces or secures seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws.
- Reports accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used timely.
- Checks work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work, and materials used.
- Punctual, follows instructions from supervisors, company policies, and procedures.
- Applies reason to diagnose issues and solve problems.
- Shows interest in, anticipates, and responds timely to customer needs with professionalism.
- Responsible for meeting productivity standards, deadlines, and work schedules.
- Creates a positive work environment where all staff are motivated to do their best.
- Performs work in a safe manner and creates an environment for others to do the same.
- Adapts to changing working situations and varying customer needs with a positive attitude
- Maintains a clean worksite, shows respect for company tools, and reports tools in need of repair promptly.
- Transports tools, equipment, and material to the job location as needed.
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications
- Sheet Metal Techniques certificate or similar training (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Working from Heights Training
- Safety Lifting Training
- WHMIS Training
- First Aid
- No experience required
- Experience in industrial and commercial (preferred)
- Reliable, self motivated, and goal driven.
- Strong team player with an ability to work independently.
- Strong customer service skills with a safety mindset.
- Ability to learn, apply, and adapt quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
