Surrey, Canada Peninsula Property Management Full time

Established Residential Property Management Company in South Surrey, with over 38 years of providing excellent customer service, is currently recruiting a full-time Accounting Administrator to join our team.

The Accounting Administrator will be a member of the Accounting Team working closely with another Accounting Administrator and reporting to the Financial Controller and Managing Broker. This position also works with other departments and contractors to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited, to:

- Accurately posting of vendor invoices and processing monthly cheque run.
- Managing utility, property taxes, insurance, and strata payments and collection, when applicable.
- Performing journal entries and creating cheques for security deposit refunds.
- Processing of cheques and statements for Placement Management Services.
- Respond to internal and external Account Payable inquiries.
- Provide support to another Accounting Administrator and Financial Controller.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Strong accounting knowledge with post-secondary education.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work independently with confidence, proficient problem-solving skills, and a take charge attitude.
- Ability to multi-task, detail oriented with accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
- Able to collaborate and share ideas with others in team environment with a professional attitude.

**Hours: Full-time (35-hour work week) Monday-Friday 9AM-4:30PM.**

**Compensation: $43,000/annum**

Pay: $43,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
