**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated, outgoing, customer-oriented cashier to join our dynamic team with casual hours. Based on your availability and preference, we are offering anywhere from 5-40 hours per week. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers in market settings, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to engage with customers and promote products will be key to driving sales and enhancing the shopping experience. Markets will be throughout Edmonton & surrounding areas requiring you to have a valid license and reliable vehicle.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using square POS.
- MUST be able to lift 40+ pounds, as this is a market cashier role, so it is imperative that you are able to set up a display with a tent, folding table, folding shelving.etc to create a safe and welcoming booth for customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized booth to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Engage with customers to upsell products and promote special offers.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

**Qualifications**
- Ability to safely lift 40+ pounds.
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle required (with valid insurance and registration).
- Comfortable working alone & reliable.
- Proficiency in English & exceptional communication skills.
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Outgoing and engaging attitude.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, receptive to feedback & willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
