As a Freight Audit Clerk, you will be responsible of carrier freight charges into the freight costing system, processing and auditing domestic and import carriers. Led by the Transportation Management System Manager, this opportunity suits a detail-oriented professional.
- **Please note this is a contract until October 2026**

**Ready to make an impact? Here’s how**:

- Solve any problems surrounding incorrect charges by carriers through checking established rates, obtaining bill of ladings etc.
- Ensure rates obtained for Dealer direct shipments are correct and adjust accordingly and advise carrier of adjustment.
- Cost import shipments through Vancouver transload, compiling the multiple pieces of information from excel files and freight bills accordingly.
- Verify and identify shipping errors and provide backup for the necessary deduction.
- Monitor routing of vendors to ensure most cost-efficient methods.
- Provide coverage for the Transportation Planners as required.

**We’re looking for**:

- Working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel and Word.
- Being mathematically inclined with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work under mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the transportation industry beneficial.
