**WE ARE HIRING A FULL TIME ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT POISTION IN OTTAWA ONTARIO**

Covertite Group of Companies is currently seeking a Assistant Superintendent in Ottawa Ontario

The individual works closely with the site superintendents, multidisciplinary teams and field staff to coordinate all aspects of the project.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist with the creation of project schedules.

Ensure that the project schedule is followed.

Ensure that the project budget is adhered to.

Meet with clients to gauge their needs.

Build positive relationships with clients and crew members.

Conduct health and safety inspections.

Organize, coordinate and support team members by executing tasks effectively

Participate, organize and hold meetings with the team.

Participate in the inspection process

Any other related tasks in connection with the position.

Skills and abilities required:
College or University degree is preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, real estate development or related fields.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and MS Project

Knowledge of 365 software and Bluebeam (asset).

Ability to analyze and synthesize.

Handle confidential data.

Demonstrate an analytical and synthetic mind as well as an attention to detail.

Be organized, manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Ability to maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders.

Ability to communicate orally and in writing, in English

Attend site meetings

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
