Throat Threads Apparel is seeking a **Product Manager** to join our team based in Burlington, Ontario.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, and working closely with the Sales Directors, the product manager is a vital member of our team and intrinsic to the company’s brand development and execution goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Overall responsibility for management of apparel inventory in conjunction with Director of Sales. Support the needs of the Director of Sales
- Work collaboratively with Director of Sales on seasonal product pricing, margin calculations etc
- Place sample buys with factories and manage
- Actively participate in annual brand budgets and mid-season re-forecasts
- Provide information to PA for accurate item / SKU # creation and purchase order data entry
- Prepare and place seasonal buys with factories and manage timing of deliveries and expected fill rate of incoming shipments
- Follow-up with factories on PO amendments, price/date changes, etc.
- Correspond with factories regarding payments, ticketing, shipping dates
- Provide timely Inventory, sales reports and other metrics to sales team as required - Flag concerns or anticipated issues with sales directors
- Manage the allocation and releases of customer orders
- Communicate priorities to product administrator (PA) and customer service (CSR) team
- Miscellaneous functions to support the overall department as required

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education (ideally in a fashion & business field)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, while using good judgment in prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to accurately input data, anticipate & plan next steps
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and with initiative
- Knowledge of, or experience using, Sage 300 a Warehouse Management System (WMS), is beneficial but is not required.
