- **We are currently looking for a Concrete Field Superintendent to join our Calgary Team**_

**Duties can include, but not limited to**:

- Direct Supervision of the work site and employees
- Assist with site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, project scheduling, field cost control and safety.
- Determine the method of construction, materials quantities, equipment, work schedule and documentation of hours worked.
- Ensure that daily operations are carried out in accordance to company objectives through the direct effective supervision of the hourly production and maintenance employees
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and Gator Concrete & Structure Restorations Health and safety policies and procedures, in daily operations, as well as ensuring that Health and Safety training is carried out in accordance to legislative and pyramid requirements
- Assist with production schedules, maintenance schedules, budgeted operating costs, forecasting, and communicate progress regularly to the management and hourly teams
- Participate in preconstruction services on all negotiated project including development of site logistics, project schedule and phasing, design and constructability review and budget development.
- Maintain relationships with engineering, estimating and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications and schedule
- Have complete knowledge of forming, placing and finishing concrete and all the steps in between to mentor and train staff
- Strive to meet and exceed any and all production targets

**General Requirements**:

- Be able to successfully manage 2-3 job sites at one time
- Be able to participate on site when required in concrete construction, resurface, repair and patch, remove and replace, and other new construction projects.
- Minimum 10 years of Construction experience in concrete field management.
- Industrial and Commercial Experience essential, with relevant Site-superintendent experience.
- Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, working some nights and weekends.
- Coating installation experience within Industrial Plant settings is a bonus

**Other**:

- Some travel within Alberta will be required. Travel and living allowances for out-of-town jobs are provided.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications,
- Equipment experience with skid steers, backhoe, trailers, etc.
- High Capacity to work with others, mentor and train employees.
- High degree of problem solving and decision making.
- High standards in safety are required.
- Must have drivers’ license and be insurable.
- Any Red Seal certifications are preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Concrete forming: 3 years (preferred)
- Concrete finishing: 2 years (preferred)
- Blueprint reading: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
