**Position Overview**:
Oversee and manage the procurement activities in support of the Cormorant Support Centre (CSC) and the Canadian SAR Helicopter (CSH) Main Operating Bases (MOB), with related responsibilities for monitoring material coordination activities.

**What You Will Do**:

- Direct responsibility for a team of buyers, material coordinators and analysts;
- Procurement activities including Purchase Order creation, tracking and vendor liaison;
- Establishment and maintenance of Inventory stock holding levels in support of fleet operational requirements;
- Overseeing inventory forecasting work that determines optimum CSH stocking levels;
- Report generation to meet IMP’s internal and external materiel support reporting obligations;
- Monitor IMP’s corporate material transactions for accuracy and compliance with CSH processes and procedures;
- Training and orientation of personnel on procedures and processes;
- Working with Material Coordinators to determine, confirm and action material requirements;
- Monitoring MRP messages / requisitions with buyers to ensure items are purchased on a timely basis to meet the requirements;
- Monitor performance targets to maintain department Key Performance Indicators;
- Monitoring inventory levels to maintain fill rates and prevent shortages and overage;
- Managing company and customer owned assets including inventory and ground support equipment;
- Act as liaison for the material department with other departments and organizations;
- Responsible for the supervision and administrative action pertaining to assigned personnel;
- Approval of time-off ensuring staff available to meet requirements
- Monitoring workload for buyers and coordinators

**What You Will Bring**:

- University degree or combination of education and experience in related field;
- SCMP or PLog designation or related work experience;
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management
- Experience in the use of MRP/ERP Systems;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Effective time and people management skills, excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work within a deadline driven environment.
- Require an analytical, self-starter, task oriented, team player with a positive outlook.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
- Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
