We are seeking passionate, creative, and reliable Early Childhood Educators to be a part of our Early Years team. We are looking for a worker who will enhance readiness, support success and establish meaningful relationships prior to and during the Kindergarten school year. The Early Years Support Worker will work closely with Early Years Manager, Qeq Coordinator, Early Years staff, Kindergarten Teachers, students, parents, elders and community. The EY Support Worker will be part of the team thatdelivers a culturally appropriate early learning educational curriculum and programing. We are looking for someone who operates with a high level of detail and organization; with high level of program planning skills. This role will give you the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and will require that you represent our Centre’s vision and values with spirit and professionalism.

**Benefits include 15 days of vacation a year, sick days, and a comprehensive medical and dental plan.

**Hours**:35 Hours/Week Monday - Friday

**Qualifications**:

- Understanding of Cultural Safety
- Current First Aid certificate
- Ability to provide professional references
- Diplomas, certificates or other evidence of training related to child growth/development
- Experience working in a childcare or recreational setting
- Must have current Drivers License and own vehicle

**Skills & Abilities**:

- High level of program planning skills and ability to translate into practice
- Trauma Informed Lens and understanding of emotional safety
- Strong understanding of child growth and development
- Ability to create culturally appropriate, developmentally appropriate and inventive programming
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cohesive team
- Flexibility and ability to “go with the flow”
- High level of organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and with other effectively within an inter-disciplinary team setting

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
