1 Temporary Full Time Clerical Supervisor

Position Information:
- The Clerical Supervisor in addition to the function of Intake Secretary, will supervise the provision of clerical support services to the professional staff of the Mental Health Services department
- Participates in the recruitment process of clerical support staff for Mental Health Services
- Ability to work with complex statistical data required
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to strict deadlines
- Report to Director of Mental Health Services as needed.
- Receive and handle referrals from physicians, self-referrals, community agencies, hospitals and other referring sources
- Ability to maintain a detailed log of incoming referrals
- Organize consultation and intake appointments, preadmission data and direct information to therapist/psychiatrist
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Mental Health environment
- Demonstrated previous supervisory leadership experience
- Ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
- Accreditation experience an asset
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to deal congenially with a variety of people and operate efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Monthly training for clerical staff
- Superior Microsoft office skills required
- Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
