Harbour City Kitchens is looking for an Cabinet Installer (subcontractor) to join our team over December and January with potential to extend

**Job Overview**:
Harbour City Kitchens is currently looking for independent contractors who are responsible for installing customized cabinets and woodwork into client’s homes and offices. You will be responsible for filing deficiency reports and reporting any missing pieces or incomplete jobs to the Service Department, all while ensuring that clients are satisfied with their installation upon completion.

**Position**:Cabinet Installer (subcontractor)

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Ability to read plans and install according to drawings
- Receive workorders for installation from the service department.
- Install custom cabinets and woodwork into client’s homes/offices/multi-unit homes.
- Install custom fitting of detailed crown and accent moldings into client’s homes/offices.
- Complete service calls to various jobs to repair damages or fix mistakes.
- Coordinate with the service department regarding material shortages, replacements, and deficiencies.
- Communicate with contractors on any plumbing/electrical issues or discrepancies
- Must keep track of their own time/bills and submit to service team.
- Must keep track/supply of their own tools and machinery.

**Qualifications**

**Previous cabinet installation experience is a must**
- Previous experience in carpentry
- Equiped with all tools needed to complete jobs.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and install cabinetry which may include tall pieces (up to 50lbs).
- Valid class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to problem solve
- Strong communication skills
- Great customer service skills

**Installers are required to provide their own safety gear and comply with WorkSafeBC standards, as well as have their own tools and reliable vehicle.**

Bonus available after completion of each job.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

**Experience**:

- Cabinet Installation: 2 years (preferred)
