**Prop House Intern for Hamilton Prop House**

Just like every member of a film crew plays an integral part in bringing a production to fruition, Hamilton Prop House’s Intern will play a key role in bringing the Prop House to life

**As a Prop House Intern you must know**

How to clean Props, set pieces and the like are sometimes mistreated and need a little or a lot of TLC to make them shine. Digging through boxes & basements for treasures, dusting, wiping down, and doing small repairs in order to restore pieces for rent or sale will be a key part of our interns role.

**As a Prop House Intern you will**

Maintain, understand and be able to draw from an extensive inventory of props, furniture and set pieces. Ever changing space & micro sets will make the Hamilton Prop House an inviting and intriguing place to hang out or shop. You will be the “go-to” person for pulling pieces for customers or to add/replace to a current installation when props are rented or sold.

**As a Prop House you must know**

How to search for treasure in the most unlikely of places. As Hamilton Prop House receives large drops of sets, donations and the like, sometimes it takes patience and understanding of the industry to sort through to the good stuff. Having basic knowledge of set design will support your ability to pull, clean (see above) price and place and post each item within the Prop House for ideal visualization for rentals or selling.

**As a Prop House intern you must be willing**

To measure, photograph, post, create and support selling Props & Wardrobe on multiple social media platforms with a panache for staying on brand and being creative

**As a Prop House intern you will**

Be customer service oriented and a team player. The Hamilton Prop House is greater than the sum of its many parts, and as a key crew member, you must be able to multitask, take direction, work autonomously at times and get things done. While juggling tasks for the Prop House, you will be expected to create an exceptional customer experience for each and every person who either comes to Hamilton Prop House or who you interact with online. Hamilton Prop House is a unique experience and we want our customers, patrons and network to have their needs met on every occasion.

Driver's License (Access to own vehicle would be preferred)

**Salary**: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

- video editing: 1 year (preferred)
