**Your Role**:

- Manage The Planning process cycle for the Business Unit. Utilize corporate steering Committee governance framework to align with the corporate strategy of the organization.
- Capture, analyze and report on key sustainability metrics.
- Organize and lead internal initiatives
- Develop and maintain a database (library) of ESG metrics definitions and templates
- Gather, organize, track and manage data pertinent to internal and external reporting purposes (e.g. Environmental Social and Governance (ESG)-related reporting, annual Corporate Responsibility Report, etc.);
- Support in identifying root causes of ESG integration gaps and solutions to close these gaps.
- Work closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders to support business initiatives, including leading multi-committees.
- Establish and maintain a database of pertinent environmental regulations across Canada, and their related costs, for which the Client is directly or indirectly obligated

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- 3-5 years of working experience in a related field, with data tracking and management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Environmental Sciences or related program.
- Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following fields is an asset: business, management, risk management, sustainable development, sustainable finance, consulting, finance, capital markets, corporate reporting, investor relations, governance, climate change;
- Ability to build strong relationships, internally and externally with a wide range of stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Familiarity on ESG related matters and/or with ESG-related standards and frameworks including EU SFDR, GRI, SASB and TCFD.
- Knowledge or experience in corporate sustainability reporting an asset.
- Exhibits a keen interest in social and environmental causes and initiatives.
- Motivated, proactive and passionate about making positive change,
- Solid knowledge and understanding of environmental regulations across Canada, including terminology and pertinent issues,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), managing databases, and analyzing data.
- Strong research skills and resourcefulness are essential.
- Excellent communication skills in providing reports/briefings and presentations to inform decision-making.
- Ability to multi-task, organize and plan effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective team player,
- Forward-thinking mindset with a demonstrated ability to be innovative and “think outside the box”.
- Positive attitude, with an optimistic outlook.
