**Summary**

The functional reporting for the Materials Planner role will be to VP, Supply Planning and Optimization. The bakery crew e.g. receivers, cycle counters and line shippers who will be supporting the activities below will be providing support to this position for their portion of responsibilities laid out below.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Ensuring Cycle counts of all raw materials and packaging items minimum once a period
- Keep a close eye on expiring materials and delisting materials and work closely with Central Planning team for the “Run Out” plan
- Improve inventory accuracy at the bakery to 98%+ (RM &PM)
- Ensuring with the bakery production team that number of mixes reported, FG production numbers (entered by line shippers only) are entered accurately and escalate to bakery manager if there is abnormal discrepancy
- Schedule deliveries for all bulk Materials (Flour, Yeast, Oil etc.)
- Based on the production schedules and forecast, schedule all palletized ingredients, packaging materials
- Own end to end Purchase order/Stock Transport order creation and closing process
- Back up for finished goods production planner to cover vacations etc.
- Ensure the Ing/Packaging is received by the Receivers in the plant by having proper quantities and batch code information in the system

**About You**:

- A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Materials Management, Business, Operations Management or equivalent
- Knowledge in SAP ERP for manufacturing is an asset
- Exceptional analytical skills (fluent excel), must be able to analyze ambiguous data and develop range of solutions
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, to help communicate process changes, daily task requirements across the network
- Passionate and desire to work and learn about the food manufacturing industry and innovation
- Ability to work in a start-up and team-based culture, working as a team to deliver outstanding results
- Ability to quickly learn and understand all elements of a very complex supply chain
- Positive attitude and a results-oriented mindset
- Bright, driven and clear about your future career goals
- Roll up your sleeves mentality with a whatever it takes mindset to get the job done
- High attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work with people across multiple functions and with all levels of management

- Proficiency in French is a must
