Rebar Estimator

We are a growing Rebar Fabrication company, specializing in structural and reinforcing steel projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. We are looking for a skilled **Rebar Estimator** to support accurate bids, detailed takeoffs, and smooth project execution.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform detailed rebar takeoffs from structural drawings and blueprints
- Prepare accurate bar lists, material quantities, and labour cost estimates
- Develop competitive bid proposals and support tender submissions
- Request and analyze supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Collaborate with engineers, detailers, project managers, and site teams
- Participate in project handoff and assist with cost controls
- Maintain knowledge of CSA standards, rebar installation methods, and Alberta construction practices

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of rebar estimating, reinforcing steel detailing, or structural estimating experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Experience with rebar estimating or detailing software (RebarCAD, ASA, CADS, or similar)
- Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and ability to work under deadlines
- Knowledge of Alberta construction standards is an asset

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
