We are looking for a Communications Specialist to support and enhance the conversations with our great people and our stakeholders.

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role will be responsible for:
- Creating and managing written, verbal, and strategic content executed for internal employees and external stakeholders.
- Providing communications coaching and recommendations to peers.
- Hands on multi-channel deployment, finding alternative methods and modes for communication delivery.
- Relying on your proven skill at distilling complex messages into concise, targeted, content - for a large and diverse variety of audiences.
- The latitude to be creative while holding a results-driven mindset.
- Planning, executing, and measuring effective employee communication campaigns.
- Developed bespoke media relations strategies for each campaign, focusing on placements via print, broadcast, events, and/or media.
- Working with internal cross departmental teams to create on-trend social media posts.
- Building strong and trusted relationships with clients, partners, stakeholders and media.
- Develop relationships and partnerships with industry associations, sector bodies, and other membership bodies as a means of increasing company mandates and initiatives.
- Organizing promotional and employee events.
- Measure and analyze the impact of AHG’s communications strategy and adjust where necessary.
- Creating a roadmap which details strategy, execution (type, frequency, content, tone), and tracking of social media content to the various channels.
- Conducting market research on relative trends and topics.
- Coordinating the translation of content of all employee facing materials.
- A proven self-driven attitude.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Expertise navigating and control multiple social media platforms.
- Copywriting and content creation skills.
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with web analytics and analysis.
- Confident public speaking ability.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written format to al levels within the organization.
- Superior time management and priority setting practices.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to use industry experience, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and imagination to identify and implement communication and brand strategy solutions.
- Occasional travel may be required.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
