**The Role**

As the Team Leader, you will assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to increase custom group sales, coach charter bookings and strive to meet & exceed team targets. Additionally, you will oversee the daily workload of the team (x6 Groups & Charter Consultants) ensuring productivity and sales are well managed; all leads, data and bookings across Canada & US is entered correctly and up to date.

Based out of our head office located in Ottawa (flexible working options available) a nd reporting into the Groups and Charters Manager, k ey responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
Respond to enquiries and booking requests, gather itineraries, liaise with venues and suppliers to generate quotes in a timely manner to meet the service requirements of our customers, whilst utilising your strong knowledge of the local market
Build strong lines of communication and relationships with internal/external stakeholders
Set conversion targets for the team, help achieve and exceed on those sales targets, look for opportunities to upsell/cross-sell
Complete all necessary booking admin, documentation and invoicing prior to departure

As an energetic and motivated self-starter, you will strive working towards individual, team and organisational goals whilst maintaining the highest standards of service.

**You will also;**

Be well organised, enjoy solving problems and have effective prioritisation, leadership & customer service skills
Proven experience in managing large volume coach movements of a complicated logístical nature
Display strong attention to detail and stakeholder management skills will help you create the ultimate experience for our customers
P revious Leadership or Groups Travel experience is a distinct advantage
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
