The Opportunity
Project: The scheme involves multiple transit lines, new and existing stations, bridges and tunnels.
This is an opportunity to deliver the best possible transportation services today while leading the way to an even better, more convenient service for tomorrow in Toronto. Making the best possible use of the public transportation investment and measurably improving the quality of life in the region.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Coordinating review, providing recommendations and approval of contractor’s estimate, variation, work plans and target price.
- Initiating and managing variations including change management process.
- Managing cost estimate reviews in relation to design alternatives and formal submissions.
- Coordinating with the contractor(s) to establish estimating formats, understand risks, evaluate alternative phasing, means and methods and develop a coordinated framework for estimating.
About you
You have a degree qualification. You have PQS certification. You have experience in leading the complete estimate for a major capital construction project. You will have rapid rail and transit estimating experience including developing the estimate for stations, rail, and systems. You have experience with developing a class 2 estimate according to AACE guidelines.
You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have experience working in project management or construction background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
