**Position Overview**

In the role of the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all corporate financial reporting, investor and institutional reporting, financial due diligence of acquisitions, financial modeling, and financial analysis, demonstrable experience working in real estate.

**Key Functions & Duties**
- Participate in monthly review of project financials, forecasts, and budgets
- Assist in the onboarding of new acquisitions working with VP of Finance and President
- Actively participate with President in all Private Investors’ Meetings
- Ensure the balance sheet reconciliations and records to audit and review standards
- Support monthly financial reporting to Private Investors and Financial Institutions
- Prepare financial information for auditors and respond to accounting firm and respond to their requests
- Reconcile and manage intercompany balances and transactions
- Perform financial due diligence of acquisitions
- Prepare development project financial models and forecasts
- Conduct financial analysis for land acquisitions
- Other work assigned by management

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting, including financial reporting for private sector working for a land developer/home builder
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) - Mandarin and English, **is a must**:

- University Degree in accounting or finance
- CFA, CMA and/or CPA Designation, is a must
- Strong knowledge of ASPE and corporate finance
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Detail oriented, multi-task oriented, professional, and self-motivated
- Strong organizational and time management skills to multi-task and meet or exceed all deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proactive problem recognition and solution
- Experience in MS Office systems and Excel
- Knowledge of NewStar Systems is an asset
