Funk's Moving & Storage is locally owned and has been operating since 1972.
Conveniently located on the West End and on a bus route.
This position is full time and year round. Experience is an asset. Training on site.
Daily tasks include:
Driving 5 ton trucks, loading, unloading, packing, unpacking, maintaining warehouse and truck organization, taking payments and handling invoices on site.
Applicants must have:
- Experience driving 5 ton trucks
- A valid driver's license
- A clean driver's abstract
- A positive attitude
- Flexible availability (including weekends)
- Physically fit
- Team worker
- Show you can safely maneuver a 3 ton and a 5ton truck
- Be able to complete pre and post
- trip inspections
- Be able to run daily logbooks
Salary based on experience.
Training included.
Uniforms that include shirts, hoodies, jackets, ball caps and toques.
Tips from customers based on performance.
After 3 month probationary period:
Employee benefits, cell phone allowance and bonus program.
